- About
Family-run since 1995.
Virgil Moody started Door Service with one truck. His son Brandon runs it today with his wife Cristy. When you call, you get them.

The name on the truck
Door Service started in 1995 with Virgil Moody and a truck. His son Brandon learned the trade beside him, took the business over, and still runs it the same way: the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.
Today it’s Brandon and his wife Cristy on most jobs — you’ll see both names in the reviews. Residential and commercial, all makes and models, and a free estimate before any work starts.
What that means when you call
- You talk to the owner. Brandon answers the phone and does the work. There is no office and no call centre in between.
- Free estimates. On repairs and on new doors. You get the number before any work starts.
- Rollers, cables, springs. The parts that actually fail, carried on the truck. Most repairs are done in one visit.
- All makes & models. Any brand of door or opener, any age. If it rolls on a track, we work on it.
- Residential & commercial. Homes, shops, warehouses and multi-bay buildings across Greater Lansing.
- Family-run since 1995. Brandon learned the trade from his dad. You talk to the owner, not a call centre.
Thirty years, one family, one truck
People call us back because we did their door the first time. Check the reviews — you’ll see the same names, Brandon and Cristy, on most of them.
