What we collect
Your name, phone number, email if you give one, the address of the door, and what you tell us about the job.
The chat box in the corner is run by our messaging provider. When it loads it records how you reached the site and the pages you look at, and it keeps a browser id in your browser’s local storage so a conversation survives moving between pages. Its network sets a cookie called __cf_bm to tell real visitors from bots. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to identify you anywhere else.
Why we collect it
To quote the work, schedule the visit, and contact you about it. We keep a record of what we installed so we can help you with it later.
Text messages and consent
When you send us a message through this website or text (517) 253-9927, you agree to receive text messages from Door Service LLC about your inquiry: replies to your questions, estimate and visit scheduling updates, and a review request after the job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of texts does not stop us calling you about a job already booked.
We do not sell your information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging consent is never shared with anyone.
Who we share it with
Our scheduling and messaging provider, and the people doing your job. That is the whole list. We never sell customer data.
How long we keep it
For as long as we might need it to service the door we installed, plus whatever our accountant and the state require for tax records. After that we delete it.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold on you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to delete it, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts immediately.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies. If analytics are switched on, they measure page visits only and are not used to identify you personally. The service-area map on the homepage is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. The chat box sets the __cf_bm cookie and keeps a browser id in local storage, as described above.
